Friends Of Children's Hospital Table Tops Spring Event St Louis MO

I recently participated in the Friends of Children's Hospital Table Tops Spring Event in St Louis Mo. It was a great experience. Seven hundred people attended this lunch event at the Ritz Carlton in St Louis to raise money for Camp Rhythm, a camp for children who suffer from heart conditions. The creativity used to design the table tops was amazing. The table top creators included designers, shop owners, local magazines, bakeries, candy shops, a shoe shop and, plumbers ( yes, plumbers!) I am already thinking about how I will design my table next year.
The dinnerware I used for my table is from Scalamandre and Lenox. It is a beautiful Chinoiserie toile pattern.
I added silver candlesticks, bowls of fruit and fresh flowers to my design.
I used Wilbury a new fabric pattern from Scalamandre for the table skirt.

I had the table skirt made extra long to give it a ball gown effect. The table is six feet in diameter making the skirt eleven feet across. It was quite a skirt.

My assistant, Elaine Freund, helped set the table.
A local candy shop used colorful Peeps to create their centerpieces!
Ladue News created this striking table design.

Dottie Eaton created a fresh, springtime table top.

Designer, Tamsin English Mascetti  created a beautiful table.
There was an abundance of creativity.
The table from Tony L'Martina Plumbing.
And from Immerse by Atlas.
An overflowing centerpiece created by Companion Bread.
Local bakeries were daring and creative with their displays.
Marmi Shoes had a fun and memorable display. It was a wonderful event and I can hardly wait until next year.
